Introduced in 1989, the 348 replaced the most successful and influential two-seat road car ever produced in Italy, the 308/328. The 348 wasn't just a refreshed 328, but an entirely new car both inside and out. Here we have a 1990 Ferrari 348ts.
The 348 was styled with inspiration from the F40 and the Testarossa and with enough changes from the 328 to proclaim itself as a new vehicle.
The example shown here is finished in Red and as you can see from the photos, has an incredible shine to it. This two owner vehicle has not had any questionable history with a spotless carfax report which is evident in the overall condition of the exterior.
The 348's interior set Ferrari's tone for the 1990s. It was modern, tidy and highly functional. No space was wasted, lines were straight and edges beveled. The matte black instrument pod housed four primary gauges, focused on the large tachometer and speedometer. The interior in this vehicle is in very good condition.
The 348 is powered by Ferrari's 3405cc V8, it produced 300bhp at 7200rpm and 237lbs-ft at 4200rpm. The V8 was installed longitudinally in the 348, bolted along with the transmission and rear suspension into the removable tube-steel rear sub-frame, a significant innovation.
The vehicle was inspected by our service department, received a new clutch and assembly, bearings, and a full service. Everything else was functional.
Top is in excellent condition, vehicle is clean inside and out with only two previous owner, come by and look at this phenomenally kept 348.
